Little Things
Age: 7th and 8th grade photography
Artist Inspiration: Alec Soth
Objective: To increase students' awareness of their surroundings and heighten their attention to detail within the frame when creating a photograph.
Project Description:
After viewing and discussing Soth's photographs, students were given the disposable cameras and the following prompt: "The photographer Alec Soth takes photos of “little things” or small details that tell us a lot about a place. What details in your school yard speak to you?"
